Confidentiality
Disability-related information is maintained in accordance with the confidentiality requirements of college policies and federal laws (e.g., FERPA). Campus Disabilities Coordinators and other Westwood staff maintain the confidentiality of the information they receive regarding students' disabilities in accordance with these laws. However, information sometimes must be shared on a need to know basis with others.Nondiscrimination

There is no special admission process for students with disabilities. Students who want accommodations or services from the Campus Disabilities Coordinator must submit a completed Request for Accommodation form with documentation regarding the nature and extent of the disability from the student's health care provider or diagnostic professional. This form, as well as all other disability-related forms, may be obtained from the Campus Disabilities Coordinator or may be accessed through the links on this page.Students may seek accommodations not only for courses and programs, but placement tests as well.
